This post was written late last year, but I forgot to post it so the dates might be confusing 😛
Today’s review is of the Innisfree Jeju Bija Anti-Trouble Cleansing Gel Review
I placed the order for this cleansing gel (16.19USD) on the 14th of July, with free EMS shipping which gave me an estimated arrival from 28th July to 18th August. The parcel arrived pretty early – 29th July! As far as free shipping goes, EMS is pretty darn reliable. I am pleased hehe
The package came in a standard small box (same size as the one I received my Too Cool for School Pumpkin Sleeping Pack in), but I don’t know if it was the weather or other products in the same EMS shipment that spilled, but the box was fairly mutilated and soggy when I picked it up. The inside, however, was still perfectly dry so I didn’t mind it at all.
The bubblewrap around the bottle was a fair considering the bottle is plastic and not that fragile. However, I think the lack of a hard paper box (which you generally see with asian skincare products) warrants slightly heavier packaging.
After all, when I took off the bubblewrap, the nozzle head was twisted to ‘open’ and some of the contents were on the bubblewrap. Not much, thankfully, but it could have been a disaster.
I Am Love Shop was kind enough to include 3 samples with this order, for which I am thankful as Rose Rose Shop (rubyrubyshop on eBay) didn’t include any.
All aspects considered, I’m really pleased with I Am Love Shop. Although I didn’t make a large order so I can’t say with confidence how their customer service/shop reliability is like, my straightforward simple order was perfect and I would shop with them again.
The Jeju Bija Anti-Trouble Cleansing Gel has worked fantastically for me. I use it infrequently, but when I do, it’s refreshing, calming, and gentle on my skin. The scent is also subtle but lovely and ‘clean’. If your skin is generally pretty good and you don’t have any problems with the ingredients in this product, I would definitely recommend giving it a go!
